As people flooded Bond Street in NoHo on Tuesday evening for yet another New York Fashion Week: Men’s event, all the talk was about emerging millennial sneaker brand, Greats, and their collaborative mid-top sneaker with Death To Tennis.
Walking into the all-white room, from front to back, all that could be seen was the emphasis on the sneaker as the grey suede stood out on the white table.
The Brooklyn based shoe company continued their rise to prominence as the collaboration was yet another example of their affordable, yet sleek and minimalistic approach to the sneaker industry and conquering other minimalistic titans such as Common Projects.
The shoe is slated for a release on Thursday, July 14 and in this writer’s view, is set to be one of the shoes of the summer alongside staples from other big name brands.
