It’s no secret that John Gieger and The Shoe Surgeon always love to create some unique sneakers whether it be switching up the colors, changing materials or even fusing two sneakers into one.
The adidas Ultra Boost has been a game changer in the sneaker scene with most people praising the shoes comfort level thanks to that Boost sole which provides endless responsive cushioning. We’ve already seen in the past people sole swapping the Boost sole onto other runners such as the Nike Flyknit Racer or Yeezy Boost 350 but it looks as if John Geiger had a different idea this time.
Geiger hooked up with the Shoe Surgeon to create the Jordan 1 Royal ‘Boost taking the uppers of the Jordan classic and partnering it with the modern technology of Boost. Considering the prices of Royal 1s on the resell market it’s no wonder people on Instagram were questioning the idea of deconstructing the shoe.
