Supreme Set To Collaborate With Stone Island Once Again

This morning Supreme New York announced on their website that they would be dropping a new collaboration with Stone Island this Thursday.

This collection is going to include a water resistant heat reactive trench coat, nylon metal track jacket and track pant, reflective compass sweater, 1/4 zip long sleeve top, water resistant heat reactive six-panel hat, crusher hat, and a PVC duffle bag. But after looking at the photos of this upcoming collaboration, how is it compared to other collaborations between the brands?

Well this collaboration seems like Stone Island have taken control and Supreme have taken a back seat. Many of the products look like typical Stone Island products with the Supreme logo just tagged on as an afterthought. One exception to this is the 1/4 Zip Long Sleeve Top which reminds me a lot of the S/S 15 long sleeve top.

Of course the hats are the same style as previous seasons just with a different pattern/material; but they maintain that iconic Stone Island badge on the front of the cap.

In terms of price, this looks to be the most expensive collaboration between the two brands. The heat reactive technology that Stone Island often implement comes at a premium so you can expect the trench coat to cost you a pretty penny. But as always, the pieces will be high quality and you can be assured the items will be worth the price (maybe).

The collection will release in London, Paris, Los Angeles, New York and online on Thursday 17th March. It will be available in Japan two days later.
